Clean North has had a lot of challenges this year and many changes have taken place. I’m happy to say that we are stronger than ever at the moment and I haven’t felt this good about my crew since back in the days when Clean North first formed in 2002. There was a real family feel when Clean North started and everyone strived to be the best and not because anyone told us to. The majority of us had the same vision and just wanted to represent Bradford/ourselves and to be next level at what we loved to do.
Only two of the members myself (Tranquil) and Mark (Question Mark) remain from the old Clean North Crew. Many members stopped dancing for various reasons but we all still see each other every so often and there is love and respect between us. The crew now stands with 8 members the others are Chris.M (BC) Himani.B (Labyrinth) Chris.R (LC) Jordan.W (Wildman) Khayyam.H (Simba) Fiona.T (Fox). Wildman and LC don’t reside in Bradford but we still see them for battles and they come by training when they can. We’re a tight unit and we spend a lot of time together, we’re travelling and battling more than ever. If we win, we win, if we lose, we lose. It doesn’t matter, we just want to rep ourselves and throw down correct.
Wildman travelled up from Leicester to visit the crew and after training we went to a new ice cream parlour to chill. Some of the staff recognised us and asked if we would show them some moves. They cranked up the beats and we couldn’t resist. Check out the video below!
