It is once again, time for the Tranquil Productions Breaker of the Month and we are happy to announce that the third person to receive this award is Bgirl Ammo. Bgirl Ammo is a member of Clean North Crew and is one of the UK’s top breakers. She is hardworking, determined and an inspiration for all the Bboys and Bgirls in Bradford.
Bgirl Ammo’s has a great style, which is strong, flowing and she uses amazing flexibility within her rounds. When Ammo battles, her opponent is often shocked by her ability and fierce energy that she brings. Ammo has a well rounded style, where her details and flips are her strengths. She is one to watch in the world breakin scene for sure!
Getting Breaker of the Month always feels like an honour. Being part of this yearly hometown battle makes me excited and fired up for sure! I felt really happy to win this month and to see all the other people who have been pushing extra hard this year.
One of the great things about Ammo is that she works hard at every training session and represents strong everywhere she goes. This showed in 2024 as she had so many opportunities that kept leading to more and more as the year went on. A special mention goes to Tech Styles International for the support and many opportunities Ammo has received, it wouldn’t have been possible without it and we love to see the Bradford community thrive. Ammo was invited to: Slovenia for the World Kids Breaking Championship; Dublin, Ireland for Top 8 Street Dance 3v3 battle; London for the Youth Breaking GB Camp; London, for the Red Bull Cypher UK and China for the World Youth Breakin Championships. This many worldwide invites is an incredible feat at the age of just 18! Her crew, Clean North and her leaders continue to push Ammo in the right direction, she has an amazing support system around her which is amazing.
This year Ammo’s breakin is consistently at a stronger level with her experience growing. Ammo has attended over 15 battles in 2024 alone and plans to continue to push her level and attend more battles in 2025. Some of the places where she battled last year include Dublin, Limerick, New York, Texas, China, Paris, Bordeaux, London, Slovenia, Birmingham, Wrexham and many more. Throughout those trips, she has met multiple breakers and crews, which have all inspired her in different ways. She has taken away something from each battle and experience, which is why we have seen a huge improvement in Ammo’s level!
One of the reasons Bgirl Ammo has achieved this award is, she has been pushing herself to train more regularly and has made consistent improvements throughout the whole year. She trains over 4 to 5 days a week ranging from training on her own, with her crew & attending open sessions. Whilst training, Ammo is always moving and trying to create new movements or improve the movements she already has. She pushes everyone that she trains with to accomplish more and gain harder moves. Not only does she push herself, but she is also an inspiration to everyone who knows her.
