Breaker of the Month | Bboy Milo – Tranquil Productions

We hope everyone has had amazing Christmas, we are excited to start 2025 with our second Breaker of the month. This award goes to none other than… Bboy Milo! One of the leaders for his crew, Concrete Roses and an inspiration for the next generation of breakers in Bradford.

Bboy Milo is strong willed, energetic and motivated. He is the type of breaker you look at and think to yourself ‘if he keeps going, he’s gonna make it big’. His style is described as being bouncy and light, with his strengths being his freestyle and character. Over the last few months, Milo has pushed himself to gain bigger moves and to have a higher level of knowledge, of not only Bradford’s breakin scene, but the wider Hip Hop scene as well. When we see this happen, these younger bboys or bgirls start to shine through and this is definitely what is happening with Milo, hence the reason why he has achieved a Breaker of the Month title.

One of the many reasons Bboy Milo was chosen for BOTM, is that he is gaining more confidence and no matter who he is battling against, he always gives 110%. He has been battling a lot more recently and he is going from strength to strength. One of his most recent battles outside of the city, he got to the semi-finals with Bboy Elijah at Bust-a-move festival, Leeds and the crowd and other breakers in the room were loving Milos style and energy and it was great to see. He also did one of his best rounds to date at the Tech Styles 9 International event in November and had everyone up on their feet with his musicality and power/freeze combos.

When I got breaker of the month I felt extremely proud of myself. I believe that to get Breaker of the Month, you need to try your best and be the best you can be.

To achieve the Breaker of the Month award, you need determination for learning new, difficult moves, not only at training but also in your own time at home. Milo is consistently improving, which is no easy feat and we hope to see this continue in 2025.

Congratulations Bboy Milo, on receiving the second 2024 Breaker of the Month title, we hope you keep pushing and we look forward to seeing all you achieve in the years to come. God Bless, Peace.
