Breaker of the month is a prestigious award given out by Tranquil Productions. This is a very difficult award to attain due to the high amount of dancers within the Bradford community. There is no guarantee that there will be a breaker of the month, this title is only awarded if someone shows the extra drive, commitment and passion. If no person stands out above another in any single month then it rolls on into the next month, until someone is found to be worthy of the title.
With that said let us introduce you to the latest breaker of the month Bgirl Ameile. She has been chosen due to her strong and hardworking nature. She progresses at a quick pace and for such a young dancer she has a great mindset. She is always pushing herself naturally without the need for constant attention and encouragement. She enjoys what she does and works hard at it, the classic sign of any Bboy/Bgirl.
Amelie (half English & half Irish) is only 10 years old and she hasn’t been part of the Tranquil Productions family for very long. She began breakin ( breakdancing ) at the age of 7 with Simon, one of Bradford veteran bboys and then moved on to train with Tranquil at St John’s a year later. She became a member of the Industrial Techniques Crew and then quickly worked her way up to becoming one of the leaders. She is an inspiration to those around her, especially her younger sister Orlaigh, who is also progressing fast.
Amelie has a quiet but strong character. She loves to battle and is always pushing to up her game against Dirty South. Her battle style is clean and confident. There is no doubt this kid can go real far we just hope she keeps on this path.
